HOMECOMING HERITAGE TOURS TO GHANA

Welcome to Door of Return, Ltd.! By booking a tour with us, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before making a reservation.
1. GENERAL TERMS
1.1. Door of Return, Ltd. operates curated heritage tours to Ghana, designed to provide a cultural and historical reconnection experience.
1.2. These terms and conditions govern the relationship between Door of Return, Ltd. ("we," "us," "our") and all tour participants ("you," "your").
1.3. By booking a tour, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted these terms and conditions.
2. BOOKING AND PAYMENT
2.1. All tour reservations must be made through our official website or authorized agents.
2.2. A non-refundable deposit of $2,200.00 is required to secure your booking.
2.3. The full balance must be paid no later than September 19, 2025 before the departure date.
2.4. Failure to complete the payment by the due date may result in cancellation without a refund.
2.5. Payment methods include credit/debit cards, bank transfers, and other options specified on our website.
2.6. Reservations can be paid in full, adherence to the established payment schedule is required.
3. CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY

4.1. Passport & Visa: You are responsible for ensuring you have a valid passport and the necessary visa(s) for entry into Ghana. We may support visa processing where necessary.
4.2. Health & Vaccinations: You must comply with Ghana’s health and vaccination requirements (e.g., Yellow Fever vaccination).
4.3. Travel Insurance: Door of Return, Ltd. provides medical insurance for all participants however, we strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance to cover trip cancellations, medical emergencies, and personal belongings. Door of Return, Ltd., Ltd. does not endorse any specific provider; the options below are provided for reference only.(Insure My Trip, Travelex Insurance,& Faye Travel Insurance) 4.4. Code of Conduct: You agree to respect local customs, laws, and tour guides’ instructions. Disruptive behavior may result in removal from the tour without a refund.
5. LIABILITY & DISCLAIMER
5.1. Limitation of Liability: We are not liable for any personal injury, loss, damage, or expenses arising from unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to flight delays, natural disasters, or personal negligence.
5.2. Third-Party Services: We work with third-party providers (e.g., hotels, transportation). While we strive for quality service, we are not responsible for their actions or errors.
5.3. Force Majeure: We are not responsible for cancellations or modifications due to events beyond our control, including pandemics, political instability, or extreme weather conditions.
6. MEDIA CONSENT
6.1. By participating in our tours, you grant Door of Return, Ltd. permission to use photos and videos taken during the trip for promotional purposes.
6.2. If you do not wish to be featured in our media, please notify us in writing before the tour begins.
7. COMPLAINTS & DISPUTE RESOLUTION
7.1. If you have any complaints, please notify our team immediately so we can address the issue.
7.2. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be governed by the laws of the United States and Ghana and settled through mediation before legal action.
8. CHANGES TO TERMS
8.1. We reserve the right to update these terms and conditions at any time. Updates will be posted on our website, and continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
